The Union of South American and Mercosur Parliamentarians – UPM – was born with the purpose of promoting the integration of cities and civil societies, of the Parliaments and Parliamentarians of America through natural and legal persons and public and private entities; reaffirming MERCOSUR as an instrument of regional integration, promoting the cultural, economic and political development of the peoples that comprise it, defending democracy and the rule of law of all Peoples. 25 years later we continue to build the FUTURE.
With a dynamic format, www.upmercosur.org became a management and communication tool that allows active participation of all its members. Likewise, the construction of new services allows us to INTEGRATE common interests in favor of the legislative, professional and technical bodies of the member countries of South America and Mercosur.
OUR FUTURE
The UPM, in its regional representation, is no stranger to the global phenomenon of future institutions that, guided by a 2030 agenda, find themselves in the need to make profound changes to face their responsibilities with the need to incorporate important technological and digital advances. . In this way, the UPM, in the same way, will seek to be a trainer for the future in the face of the challenges that INTEGRATION with a Legislative and Institutional contribution of great relevance, and thus be able to assist different sectors of health, environment, tourism, business, cultural , educational, social and economic, among many others, with impact and cutting-edge capabilities in order to contribute to a better quality of life and coexistence between our Peoples. These adjustments, changes and adaptations to operate in the environment of the new era CALL all legislators, professionals and technicians of Mercosur to make a minimum contribution so that the new challenges allow us to take a step forward with pragmatism without being absorbed by the situation and fall framed in the figure of survival.
