The International Seminar on Water Resources of the Uruguay River Basin took place on the Campus of the Federal University of the Southern Border (UFFS), in Erechim, RS, Brazil, and had the participation of 217 registered and the presentation of 25 jobs.
Its main objective was to promote collaboration between researchers and managers in the area of water resources, in order to preserve the waters of the Uruguay River basin, which covers Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay.

•The specific objectives included the systematization of scientific work, the integration between researchers and managers, and the stimulation of dialogue between the spheres of public power of the three countries, highlighting the work of the Uruguay River Water Observatory.
