On the morning of September 26th, the Union of South American and Mercosur Parliamentarians (UPM) met at the headquarters of the Regional Government of Valparaiso, Chile with the purpose of addressing a topic already discussed for many years in the entity, which is the Bioceanic Corridor.
Parliamentarians from Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile were present. The Brazilian delegation included the participation of President Valdemar Junior, his vice-presidents, Welligton do Curso and Clovis Ferraz, the first secretary Olyntho Neto, the first Treasurer Georgeo Passos, the Director of Political Articulation, Flavio Monteiro, the president of the Environment Forum Luciano Henning and members of the legal consultancy Dr Camila Carneiro and Dr Aldo Miranda.
